English Vocabulary Words!

Ceremonious - carefully observant of ceremony; formally or elaborately polite
Assertive - confidently aggressive or self-assured; positive
Stow - to put in a place or receptacle, as for storage or reserve; pack
Recede - to go or move away; retreat
Mausoleum - a burial place for the bodies or remains of many individuals
Musty - having an odor or flavor suggestive of mold
Dingy - shabby
Cloister - any quiet, secluded place (monastery)

Leaky - allowing liquid, gas, etc., to enter or escape
Decrepit - weakened by old age; feeble
Exacerbate - to increase the severity, bitterness; to embitter the feelings of (a person); irritate; exasperate
Surreptitiously - acting in a stealthy way; obtained
Revered - to regard with respect tinged with awe; venerate

Theatrically - of or pertaining to the theater or dramatic presentations;

Vault - a burial chamber
Flamboyant - strikingly bold ; dashing and colorful
Sedate - calm, quiet
Antiquated - no longer used; old, aged
